Axis Age/Golden Age In Greece

Aristotle, when was the Golden Age?
Around 400 B.C. in Athens.  There was a Aristocracy that moved into a Direct Democracy.  Debt slavery was outlawed, and political office was open for all citizens.  The main goal of the democracy was trade and obtaining knowledge.

What were the general achievements?
There was great science and philosophy.  We were producing important works of literature, rhetoric, and drama. There were great philosophers including Plato and Socrates. Of course the teacher of Alexander the Great, me, founded the Peripatetic School of Thought.

Do you think your work and that of the other philosophers will be remembered?
Of course.  What we did was very important.  Our logical thinking and discoveries will change history.  The movement to a democracy will establish a great goal for all governments, particularity in the West.
